"Langermann's Restaurant"

Langermann's is taking a most delicate and quiet approach as it enters the Baltimore Restaurant Scene. Nestled comfortably in what was the old Donna's/Bibelot Spot and then, Kiss Cafe in the American Can Development area, Langermann's, named after it's Executive Chef/co-owner, Neil Langermann, I predict, will be a new hot spot for foodies, casual upscale diners. Langermann's is a welcome respite for those looking for a good, reliable spot away from the typical 'bar scene' of Fells Point and Canton that surrounds them.
Myself, Ms. Glossy, & buddy Kirstin stopped past on Saturday evening for dinner not having a clue what kind of food they specialized in. We decided to take a chance as were always open to a new dining experience.  Upon being seated & receiving menus we found that Langermann's specializes in 'Southern insipred' dishes, shrimp and grits and prepares a twist of traditional dishes like turkey and warm, melted brie cheese and traditional wings are made with a spicy Asian sauce-yum.Langermann's takes the diner to a new level of comfort food and taste buds delights. Wait staff wears old time crisp white jackets giving a more supper club feel. Service was amazing & the food delish about sums up our dining experience.
We started with appetizers of Crispy fried Catfish, BBQ Short ribs, & Asian wings. For our main courses Ms. Glossy tried the Seared Scallops (asparagus, mashed potatoes, red wine sauce). Kiristin went with the Charleston Shrimp & Grits (shallots, tomatoes, Andouillie sausage, buttery clam broth, stone mill grits).  I ordered a traditional Hamburger (lettuce, tomato, onion, sesame seed roll) with a side order of Aged white cheddar Macaroni & Cheese. Of course we all shared our food with one another & the general consensus at our table was everything was excellent. We choose outdoor seating since it was such a beautiful day & after about 15 minutes of girl talk & good laughs it was time for dessert. We shared the 3 layered Chocolate Cake A La Mode (drizzled with chocolate sauce & served with Vanilla ice cream). All that's left to say is Langermann's will definitely be seeing a lot more of us this summer!
